About The Blend
Neighborhood is a espresso blend built from three farms across three countries, each one chosen for what it brings to the cup. The foundation is Yosef Yonka's washed Ethiopian from Abaya Taka-Chire in Sidama, a small two-hectare farm where 74/110 and 74/112 varieties are pulped on a local Agard machine and dried on raised African beds. Mario Rene Lopez Ambrocio brings a washed Caturra, Catuai, and Pache from his 1.8-hectare farm in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, a multi-generational operation he inherited from his father and has been working for over 38 years. And anchoring the fruit is the Guava Banana from Elías and Shady Bayter's El Vergel Estate in Fresno, Tolima, a natural anaerobic Red and Yellow Caturra that brings the intensity the other two coffees can hold up against.
